Overview
School Council relies on generous donations and sponsorship from parents, caregivers and local community businesses.
Our annual budget is typically ~$50K, with most funds raised from our top 3 initiatives:
Beach Fest Fun Fair ($10-25K)
Pizza Lunches ($8-10K)
Parent Social ($6-8K)
Proceeds directly support Kew Beach Public School’s Council budget for Academic Enrichment (arts and music, STEM, life-skills workshops), School Improvement (classroom and library supplies, Phys Ed equipment, field trip transportation), and Community programs (EcoSchools, teacher appreciation, and donations to other TDSB schools).
